Pizza in the gas station restaurant was exquisite. Welcome in the desert sand !
Love this place because is straight Texas.
I’m being nice and giving them two stars. The only reason I stayed there was it was close to Big Bend, but never again. I had a king size bed that sunk in the middle so bad it was difficult to get out. If two people were sleeping in the bed they would be on top of each other. The shower/tub sometimes drained and other times the water from the last days shower was still there, nasty.
This place is good at what it offers. Not luxury, but comfort and convience. A great base for exploring the Big Bend area.
We did camping here at the property. It is built for the lodge and RV campsite. It had BBQ grills in the campsite and a good restroom as well. Water scarcity is expected and so we need to pay for shower. Good view from the campsite as well.
We came here for the Ride4Trails motorcycle rally. Stayed in The Mission Lodge. Nice,clean, relatively new rooms. This is a very practical location with gas, store,and restaurant right across the street.
